Wall mounted radiators not only heat the air volume contained in a room by the combined effect of thermal convection and direct heat radiation. Due to their closeness to the wall a substantial amount of energy is also absorbed by the wall itself and is therefore not available for heating the room. The tesamoll Heat reflector foil was designed to counteract this effect by reflecting the heat off the wall.

An effective energy-saving foilThe tesamoll Heat reflector foil is made of a special insulating foam coated with aluminium foil. The foam works as an insulant keeping the heat generated by a wall-mounted radiator from being absorbed by the wall. The aluminum foil acts an a reflector and radiates the heat back into the room. As a result, the heat loss through the wall is effectively reduced and less energy is needed to keep the room comfortably warm. |
The easy way to prevent thermal lossThe tesamoll Heat reflector foil was designed to be attached on the surface of the wall immediately behind the radiator. It can be cut easily with a conventional carpet knife to exactly fit into the wall section behind the radiator. For easier attachment it does not come with a self-adhesive backing. Use either multiple strips of double-sided self-adhesive tape or any other suitable bonding agent to firmly attach it to the wall. |
