Install Paint ProtectorOn the upper door hinge, hang/place paint protector centered just below the hinge nut. For some models use painters tape to hold in place. |
Remove Door Hinge NutUsing the appropriate driver, socket, or bit, remove the hinge nut. |
Install Door LockInsert key tool into hinge lock and engage lock nut pattern. Thread the lock into hinge by hand. |
Tighten Door LockUsing a ¼” ratchet and key tool, tighten the lock to approximately 80-90in.lbs. Do not over-tighten. Remove key tool and paint protector. Repeat process on other doors (one lock per door). |
