It features a durable nylon core, which is finished with a colourful coating of silicone. However, as well as providing a great touch for livening up your utensils pot, this coating also makes it very practical.

The ladle head is also slightly flattened at the front, so you can press it against the surface to scrape every last drop of stew, soup, casserole or sauce from the side or base. The silicone coating flexes slightly to help scrape each drop without any subsequent annoying noise (as with metal utensils), and ensures it doesn’t scratch any non-stick or special ceramic coatings on cookware. Its long handle also features an anti-slip, heat resistant grip making it not only comfortable to hold but ideal for stirring and serving on hot stove tops, as it’s heat resistant to temperatures up to 260 degrees Celsius / 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Odour and stain resistant too, it’s a doddle to clean up. You can simply rinse it off by hand or pop it in your dishwasher. Its finish remains amazing.
