Drills through most metal

Greenlee step bits are engineered to drill through 10 gauge mild steel, copper, brass, and aluminum, as well as wood, plastic, and laminates. Drill hole sizes ranging from 1/2-inch (12.7 millimeter), 7/8-inch (22.2 millimeter), and 1 1/8-inch (28.6 millimeter), all with only one 2 15/16-inch (74.6 millimeter) bit. Minimum chuck size 3/8-inch (9.5 millimeter).
