Everbuild 503 Premium S.B.R. Bond Admixture is a styrene butadiene, synthetic rubber (latex based) water resistant bonding agent and admixture for use in areas subject to humidity, dampness and water contact including vapour. Add to mortar, screeds, renders to greatly improve adhesion to a wide range of substrates including dense concrete, steel, tiles and more. S.B.R. improves water resistance of cement mixtures by forming a reinforcing polymer that increases long term durability and flexibility of the mix on renderings and floor screeds. 503 Premium S.B.R. Bond Admixture contains anti-foam to control the density of cementitious mixes. Use 503 Premium S.B.R. Bond Admixture to greatly improve resistance to many chemicals as well as improve frost resistance due to a reduced water: cement ratio, giving the added benifit of improving workability. 503 Premium S.B.R. Bond Admixture can also be used as a primer or sealer in tiling applications. Finally, in comparison to PVR 503 SBR Bond is not adversely affected in wet conditions and therefore is recommended for exterior use.
