IMS Precision Competition Series Shower Screen with 200 µm filtering capacity evenly distributes water flow, prevents channeling, makes every extraction consistent. Polished surface makes cleaning easier, coffee and oils doesn’t stick as much as with original screen. Inner shower holder is made of brass rather than plastic original. It has much better heat retention and doesn’t react with chemicals. Brass Holder has smaller holes than original holder: since machine has one spout for water pressure, original shower holder tends to concentrate more water pressure to one side of the holder. Therefore we designed shower holder with smaller holes and made more space for water to distribute more evenly towards IMS shower screen. The brass part is made from material CW510L. It conforms with the requirements for USA market with limits placed on lead for materials in contact with water for human consumption. Its NSF372 certification is a guarantee of compliance with American standards. In 2011, Federal Safe Drinking Water Act determined that “lead-free” brass has to have maximum weighted lead content of 0.25% on the wetted surface of plumbing products. The material that have been used in this kit – CW510L contains only ≤0.2 % of lead (Pb).
