Solon Kono

One of the very best African guitarists, Djelimady Tounkara was chosen by Nick Gold to be featured in the project AfroCubanism, together with Toumani Diabate or Eliades Ochoa. Djelimady toured in 2011, both with his band, and with AfroCubanism.

This new visibility and acclaim convinced Lusafrica to reissue his best solo album to date, ”Solon Kno”, originally released in 2005, this recording includes the fantastic song Fanta Bourama.
